Literature Text

I love you,
A raging storm among islands,
Vicious winds in the desert,
Piling dunes high with sand.

I love you,
The cruelest of all tortures,
Tied, bound together and starving,
No release waits for me.

I love you,
Like the sugared strawberries,
Frozen and ripe in the fridge,
I like to eat them slowly.

I love you,
Something fierce and unforgiveable,
Soaked wet with passion,
The feel of your tongue.

I love you,
Just a lingering memory,
A stain of white on a grey sheet,
Like black and white photographs.

I love you,
Only in my dreams.
Inspired by a fever-induced dream I had last weekend, everything was so vivid. I could feel everything, crazy.

Enjoy.

Ahhh drug-induced dreams...I hear ya! The first verse is by far my favourite...it conjures up visions that are, as you said, very vivid. A very sensual piece that keeps it's class. Well done! faved!
